REAL-TIME ALL THE TIME

Origin Zero is one of the first cinematic projects to completely rely on real-time rendering technology. Here’s how we’re bringing our work to life:

 

POWERED BY UNREAL ENGINE 4

Unreal Engine has proven itself time and again to be the very best in powering games, movies, and visual effects.

 

Every image and animation in Origin Zero has been created using Unreal Engine 4. As traditional animation pipelines take around fifty(!) hours per frame, we use UE4 to speed up production and deliver more content directly to you.

MOTION CAPTURE MADE IN GERMANY

 

To help produce our high-quality animation, we’ve teamed up with metricminds – a German-based motion capture studio. They’re also helping us clean the recorded data and produce custom handkey animations for some of our creatures and shots.
